Introducing the New Flex Program

Classical Christian Academy is excited to introduce its new Flex Program for the 2021-2022 school year. The Flex program takes the school’s core Hybrid Program and adds additional layers of flexibility for students in 7th – 12th grades. The new Flex Program follows a collegiate model, which allows families to choose the courses and services that meet their needs.

For many years, Classical Christian Academy supported homeschoolers with its Connections option. The Flex Program offers families the same level of support and services, but with more options and a simplified pricing structure.

“CCA is best when we offer families flexible options to choose from as we partner together,” explained Amy Davis, CCA founder and principal. “Combining flexibility with excellent educational opportunities has given our families academic stability in a time when it seems like everything else is changing.”

CCA offers two paths for the Flex program: enrolled student and guest.

FLEX PROGRAM STUDENTS

Flex Students are enrolled students at CCA. Students in the Flex Program may choose their level of on-campus involvement. They may take no classes with us and exclusively homeschool, or combine homeschool, livestream, on-campus, dual enrollment or other early-college-credit options to create a schedule to fit their needs. This unique flexibility enables students to balance school with the exploration of their own interests, arts, work, internship, sports, and community service.

CCA’s guidance counselor oversees attendance, makes course suggestions, and ensures each student’s graduation requirements are met. Because of CCA’s careful oversight of Flex students’ educations, CCA can attest to the quality of the student’s education. As a result, these students will have official transcripts and may work toward earning an accredited diploma from Classical Christian Academy.

FLEX PROGRAM GUEST

Students who wish to remain registered as homeschoolers with the county or be registered with another private school may also take classes as guests of CCA. Welcoming guests to CCA creates opportunities for students in our community. Guest students may take some – or all – of their classes with CCA.

Guests may wish to take classes for a number of reasons. Sometimes parents aren’t comfortable teaching higher-level courses to high school students. In this instance, students take classes taught by CCA’s quality teachers and have interaction with other students. The Guest program may also appeal to athletes who want to play sports for other private or public schools while receiving a Classical, Christian education. There is an option for guests to pay for guidance counseling and testing services if the family wants this additional support.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT PROGRAM

Our enrollment team and school administrators are available to help parents understand the differences of each of the programs and help families find the right fit at CCA. Families are encouraged to contact the school if they would like individualized support or have any questions.

This webpage explains the Flex Program paths in more detail.

“We hope that we can meet the needs of more families in our area by inviting them to partner with CCA,” explained Mrs. Davis, principal and founder of CCA.

CCA has Continuous Enrollment, which means students can enroll at any time for the upcoming school year. Information about tuition and enrollment is available on the school’s website.
